The imperative: Komm! Kommt! Kommen Sie!

A command starts with the verb. The form depends on who you are talking to. For du, start from the du form and drop du and -st: du kommst → Komm! For ihr: Kommt! For Sie, swap the two words: Kommen Sie!

The rule

It tells someone to do something, and the verb comes first (after any name).
